Overview
The Mr. Inappropriate range of rude lesbian cards is a selection of simple, fun cards for lesbians that can be used for any occasion. The styles are mostly very plain with a simple message on the front, and a small amount of text on the inside. Some are to give to your partner, others can be given to friends or colleagues.
The style is intended to be playful and light-hearted and not mean or offensive; obviously the line between playful and mean is different for each person so you have to use your judgement as to whether it will be suitable for the recipient.
If you’re not sure, it’s best to either read some of the reviews or just buy one a see what it’s like (they're pretty cheap for what they are). If you don’t like it, just ask for a refund.
Summary of card types
As I mentioned above these cards can be grouped into those you’d give to your partner and those you’d give to someone else. This is an important distinction because if you’re giving it to someone close it doesn’t matter so much whether they find it offensive; if they do then at least you’ll know them a bit better!
If you’re giving it to someone else though, maybe a colleague or new friend, you must make sure they’re comfortable with this sort of thing. If you get it wrong, there’s a small chance they’ll find it very offensive and complain about you.
Having said that though, most people are sensible enough not to overreact in that way so maybe I’m worrying about nothing.
The other way we can group these cards is by type: most of them are birthday cards but some are also suitable for valentine’s day or an anniversary. Or just as a little surprise – which in my opinion is the best reason!
