Overview
To buy a suitable present for your friend, you need to consider her personality and your relationship with her. This is very important so you don’t offend or upset her, or just buy something that she doesn’t like.
There are many options for funny, silly or just plain rude gifts available, the most important thing is to match it to her personality and sense of humour.
How to choose the right gift
This depends on what you’re trying to achieve. If it’s just a bit of fun that you’ll both laugh about, then fine. Or maybe you want to wind her up a bit more and give her something that will make her feel embarrassed or offended.
If the latter is the case then I would suggest not doing it unless you’re sure she’ll take it in the right way, and you’re not worried about upsetting her.
If you’re not sure, then it might be a good idea to have a look through our product selection together and see how she reacts. That way she won’t know which one she might be getting as there are plenty to choose from.
One way you could do this without being too obvious is to browse through this sort of stuff with her while pretending that you’re looking for something for someone else. Maybe a mutual friend – I’m sure you can think of someone!
It’s quite easy for me to say all this without knowing anything about either of you, but that’s why I’m giving a few options; ultimately it comes down to what you know about her and what sort of thing she’d like.
What sort of thing would she like?
Yep well this is something I can’t answer with much certainty! I can only give some ideas based on the type of person she is, so have a look below at my attempt at categorising people into three groups:
Group 1: She has a very silly sense of humour and likes making fun of people (in a friendly way). This means that she’ll probably appreciate something equally silly; have a look at our ‘gifts’ page for inspiration. It really doesn’t matter if it’s useful or not, as long as it makes her laugh.
Group 2: She has an average sense of humour (whatever that means) but does like being given presents. Most people like being given things so this is probably the best choice if you’re not sure. This means something useful – again have a look at our ‘gifts’ page or maybe even ‘household’ as there are some useful things there too.
Group 3: She has no sense of humour at all; if this is the case then I have no idea why you want to buy anything from us!
