Overview
For a gift that really works, you want to pick something that will make him feel loved and desired.
The obvious option is to go for some sort of mass-produced generic nonsense, but by definition, if you buy something like this it’s probably the same thing that everyone else gets. Not a great way to make someone feel special.
The solution is to get him something unusual and rare; the best way to do this is to buy from a small shop like Mr. Inappropriate. We are tiny compared to the big shops so every product we sell is unique simply because we don’t have the resources to make thousands of the same thing.
The next problem is how do you make him feel desired?
If you want to make him feel that you want him, it makes sense to give him something that you would only give someone you want; maybe something cute or loving, or a bit naughty or suggestive. Or maybe you could just tell him what you plan on doing with him…
This is easy for us as all our products are designed for this exact purpose; we have the full range from sweet and loving up to rude and offensive.
Or maybe he’d prefer something funny? Again, easy for us as all our products are designed to be funny in some way; whether playful or silly, or mean and offensive.
It’s all about making a statement
Whatever gift you get for him, if you want it to be memorable it has to make some sort of statement; whether it’s playful, silly, loving or offensive. It also has to stand out, which I suppose is part of making a statement in itself.
Something else that will help with this is the packaging; most gifts come in boring packaging which isn’t very exciting and doesn’t add much value. As with everything we do, we try and make it special by wrapping each item in tissue paper, adding a little gift card and including one of our business cards (which are fun).
