Overview
If you want a card for your lesbian partner which shows that you understand her and what she wants, the best thing to do is to buy something from mrinappropriate.co.uk. We are a business dedicated to helping people like you find a gift that will show your love in just the right way.
Why is it so hard to choose a card for my lover?
Our society is full of people trying to tell us how we should behave, what we should think, who and how we should love. I think this makes it hard for us to connect with our true feelings and desires, meaning that it’s difficult to know what we want as well as what our partner wants.
We’re also made to feel ashamed about what we like and who we are, which makes it even harder.
When you’re trying to choose a card for your partner, what normally happens is that you look at a bunch of cards that don’t really mean anything – stupid cards with silly meaningless words on them – then eventually give up and pick the least worst card. You know it doesn’t really say how you feel, but at least your partner will know that you tried. Well no, they probably won’t even know that – they’ll just think you grabbed any old card without thinking about it.
What’s the best kind of card to get?
I can’t answer this one – only you can. But I can help guide you towards something good.
The first thing is whether or not it’s meant to be funny. I guess it probably is if you’re buying from us. Or maybe not. Maybe it’s a genuinely loving message but just a bit unusual, or ‘edgy’ as people like to say these days.
Have a think about whether she’ll prefer something romantic or rude; or possibly both? Some women actually do like being called ‘my little snuggly-pumpkins’; but others prefer being called something else.
Of course if she likes that sort of thing then there are plenty of options for her out there; but if she prefers something naughty or a bit weird then there isn’t much choice.
The other thing to consider is whether she’d like something direct or subtle. For example, maybe she’d like something edgy but wouldn’t admit it; in this case some sort of subtle suggestion would be better than being direct about it.
Or maybe she does know what she likes but doesn’t want anyone else knowing about it; in this case again something subtle would be better so she won’t be embarrassed if someone sees the card.
Or maybe she knows exactly what she wants and isn’t afraid of showing anyone – in this case I think you could go all-out with something bold and direct!
The final consideration is whether you want the message on the front of the card (where everyone can see) or on the inside (where only she will see).
It’s probably easier for me just to say have a browse through our selection and see what works for you!
