Overview
The best way to give him a rude gift is to think about what sort of thing he will enjoy.
Try to be considerate.
One of the most important things is to make sure you get something he’ll like. I know that sounds obvious, but it’s easy to get carried away and buy something that you think is funny, but he might not agree. If you’re lucky, he’ll just laugh and forget about it, but if not, he might actually be offended. That’s unlikely though – particularly if you’re buying for a man – most men have a pretty good sense of humour about this sort of thing.
Think about whether you want it to be useful or not
There are two main categories of gift: something useful or just a silly novelty. If you’re going for a novelty gift you have loads of choice; we sell all sorts of things from silly little badges, all the way up to fancy boxes containing various things such as candles and soap. The boxes look nice and the contents are good too.
If you want something useful, the most popular options are probably mugs; they’re always needed and everyone likes another mug. We also have some nice coasters too which could go with the mug.
Summary
I think the best thing is to try to imagine what it would feel like to receive a particular gift; would it just make him giggle or do you think he’d be genuinely offended? Maybe ask someone who knows him well.
