What sort of candle to get for an old friend

Overview

Get them a candle that is a little bit silly and a little bit funny, but not really offensive. Something that is playful and fun and will make them smile, rather than being really mean.

Introduction

If you've not seen your friend for a long time, it's probably best to be careful with what you get them. If you know them well, then you probably have an idea of what they are like and what they like. But if you've not seen them for ages then maybe they've changed, so it's best to play it safe.

What sort of person are they?

This is the most important question. If you've not seen them for a while, think about how they were when you last saw them or spoke to them. Are they the sort of person who would laugh at someone falling over in the street? Are they the sort who would giggle if someone farted in public? Or are they the type who would complain about it? If they're likely to complain then you're probably best off getting something safe and boring from Amazon or somewhere. But if they're the sort who likes to mess about and have fun then I think they'll appreciate something from us here at Mr Inappropriate.

Which candle would be suitable?

If you want something that's light-hearted and innocent, I recommend our 'have a nice poo' candle. It's just silly and fun, and something that everyone can relate to. Which of us hasn't had that feeling of relief when we've been holding one in all day?

A proud Yorkshire resident, Dan remains steadfast in his belief that humour is one of the best ways to escape the pressures of everyday life, and that a well-timed, mischievous gift can often o more good than any pill.
